This time of year, the farm is a hive of activity. It’s haying season, and with three crops per field each summer, every moment counts. From the early morning hours at 6am until well past midnight, the work never stops. Cutting, baling, and clearing the fields must be executed flawlessly to ensure the next crop has the space and time to grow.

The commitment is relentless, during this time it’s seven days a week, with no room for pause. Few realize the extensive labor and time investment required to sustain the ranch and supply the products you find in our store. This is the reality behind the scenes: the dedication, precision, and endurance necessary to bring the farm’s bounty from the fields to your table.

Caring for the land and animals at WS Ranch is more than a job—it’s a lifelong commitment. There’s no time for vacations when every day demands attention, patience, and hard work. This dedication is what allows us to maintain the highest standards, ensuring that every aspect of the ranch reflects our passion and expertise. It’s a labor of love that never pauses, and that’s precisely what makes it so rewarding.

New Year, New Plans!

We will be taking back control of our website in the new year, we will be focusing on shipping only online and for all of our local customers you will still be able to shop in the store at your convenience.

Over the past couple of years we used a platform that made it easy to sell by weight online, we have noticed it wasn’t utilized very often so we will be closing down that platform and managing our website on our own. There will be a way to order online if your interested in bundles or subscriptions and we will have an add on option for a few of our more popular cuts of meat.

Along with the meat we will be adding accessories and skin care products to the website for easier ordering.
